『神様の願い』（ルカ15章3節〜7節） ( 11.11/2025 )

'I tell you it will be the same in heaven. There will be great joy when one sinner turns away from sin. Yes there will be more joy than for 99 godly people who do not need to turn away from their sins.`(Luke 15:7) 「あなたがたに言います。それと同じように、一人の罪人が悔い改めるなら、悔い改める必要のない九十九人の正しい人のためよりも、大きい喜びが天にあるのです。」（ルカ15章7節） Tashiro Sensei has been preaching on Jonah was a prophet a man who heard from God and told the people what God was saying. Do you know the story of Jonah? We’re going to act it out. First God told Jonah “Go to Ninevah.” Jonah didn’t want to go to Ninevah because Ninevah was part of Assyria a country that was attacking Israel and would eventually win for a time. God was sending Jonah to talk to Israel’s enemies! So instead of going Jonah ran away in a boat. God is everywhere. So He knew that Jonah was running away. He stopped Jonah with a big storm. And then When Jonah was in the water a big fish swallowed Jonah. Jonah said “I am sorry!” And then God made the fish spit Jonah back up on the land. Jonah went and talked to the people in Ninevah-and they listened to him! They also told God they were sorry and stopped doing bad things. God forgave them. I wonder: Have you ever run away from your mom or dad because you were scared they were angry at you or you didn’t want to do what they said? Have you ever tried to run away from God? But that’s silly question right? Because I already said that the God who created the world and created you is everywhere. So how would a person run away from God? Do you have any ideas? The big ways that people run away from God are by not praying not reading the Bible and not living the way that we know God wants us to live. When we run away from God God called us “lost”. How do you think God feels about the people He made who are lost? Jesus told a story about that. I’m going to read it to you and then maybe you can tell me how God feels. In this story: Read Luke 15:3-7: the parable of the lost sheep. What did you learn? How does God feel about the people who are lost? What does he do? If you want to turn towards God you can do it by praying. We don’t pray to a God who lives in a shrine or temple. This church also is not God’s house-because God is everywhere and the people who believe in Him are His house. This building is special because people who believe in God are here. We pray by talking to the God who created us. And it’s especially good to pray together with other people who believe in God. We also turn towards God by learning how God wants us to live and really doing it. We learn this from the Bible. Prayer (説教者；パメラ・キーン宣教師)
